Hesperia Adult School is continuing to enroll adult students ages 18 and older into High School Diploma, GED Preparation, English As A Second Language and Citizenship Prep. Classes are FREE! This partnership, in coordination with the work of our counselors, will help our students set and achieve their post-secondary goals. Dear Shadow Ridge Families, I would like to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. I am thrilled that you have chosen Shadow Ridge as your Educational program. While we are doing distance learning there are a few changes to our program. First day for students is Thursday, August 6th. You should hear from your child’s homeroom teacher by Thursday. You may also log into Infinite campus and find your child’s homeroom teacher under the schedule tab. Each teacher will reach out to you via e-mail to schedule a 30-minute zoom meeting with each family to go over out program and sign the master agreement. Please look for the email with the SignUp Genius link. I would like to invite families to a schoolwide zoom meeting on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. The meeting will provide general information, expectations, standards for distance learning format, and what to expect while we are in distance learning. Welcome back Shadow Ridge parents and students. This is a quick reminder about the 2020-2021 Online Registration Update that all HUSD parents/students must complete before our planned return to school in August 2020. Please note that this online process simply replaces the hard copy packet that we normally would send home with your student. If you have already completed the 2020-2021 registration update process kindly disregard this post. If you have not completed the process your child should have received an email in their school issued GMail account titled “2020-2021 Online Registration Update Info” from “no reply” on Monday, June 22nd. This email has step by step instructions on how to complete the update process. Please review the email with your child and complete the process as soon as possible. Dear Parents and Students, During this COVID-19 Emergency, our concern has been on keeping the community safe through being socially distanced. As we approach the end of the academic year, we want to express our sincere appreciation to you. Thank you so much for your patience, resilience, and your support through distance learning during this difficult time. There is still a lot of uncertainty when it comes to the next school year, but we will continue to be transparent and keep you updated. If your child is planning to attend an HUSD school next year, you do not have to return your Chromebook until school resumes in the fall. If your child will NOT be attending an HUSD school next year, then please come by the office to drop off for your Chromebook next week Monday (6/1/20) - Thursday (6/4/20) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If you are a graduating senior, please return your Chromebook. To our Class of 2020! We are so excited to celebrate your accomplishments.
