Our 7th Grade Honors Science students have been diving deep into the amazing world of ecosystems! From deserts and rainforests to oceans and tundras, students researched how living and nonliving factors interact to support life. To wrap up the unit, they created and delivered presentations showcasing the unique characteristics, organisms, and environmental challenges of different ecosystems. During their presentations, students are also practicing and strengthening their public speaking skills. We’re so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and creativity as they explored the science behind our planet’s diverse habitats!

Students and staff celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and Kona Ice by wearing green, showing their festive spirit, and enjoying snow cones together. 🍀

Congratulations to our CMS Advanced Band & String Orchestra! Both ensembles represented Cedar Middle School with pride at the SCSBOA Los Osos Band & String Festival, earning an Excellent Rating in their performances! Their hard work, dedication, and musicianship truly showed on stage! We are incredibly proud of these students and the way they continue to represent our program.
